Licences issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and export promotion councils – the foundation of any import–export business.
IEC Code Registration (Import Export Code)
The IEC is a 10-digit, PAN-based code issued by DGFT. It is mandatory for any business or individual importing or exporting goods or services from India, and is needed for customs clearance, bank remittances and export benefits.
